Qualifications

• CPR certification required every two years.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school required
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state with current licensure

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment. Ensures patient evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional and according to the Standard of Practice.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation including evaluations, progress and discharge notes per policy.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards and adjusts schedules to meet patient needs.
• Supervises PT students and PT assistant students to develop clinical skills and assure quality patient care.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.
• Ensures age/developmental appropriate care and adheres to hospital standards for teamwork.
