Job summary

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the applicable state.
• CPR certification required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment; ensures evaluations follow standards and realistic goals.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation including evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Meets department productivity targets and budgets; adjusts schedules to patient and department needs.
• Participates in process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency of services.
• Supervises PT and PT assistant students to develop clinical skills.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians, staff and external customers.
• Delivers age-appropriate care with developmentally appropriate knowledge and skills.
• Adheres to hospital standards to promote teamwork and safety.
