Job summary

Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, NC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team on a part-time basis. You will provide individualized therapy services, assess mobility and functional abilities, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to support each patient's progress.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, implementing interventions to improve movement and daily functioning, documenting progress, and contributing to care

Qualifications

• A current, valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with the care team.
• Physical ability to meet job requirements including lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ mobility, strength, functional abilities, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve movement, balance, and daily functioning.
• Review patient progress and modify treatment approaches when appropriate.
• Complete clinical assessments and maintain accurate treatment records.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to promote quality care.
• Offer guidance to patients, families, and staff on safe mobility and restorative techniques.
• Participate in care planning and staff education as needed.
