Job summary

Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, NC is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time basis. This role focuses on direct patient care, individualized treatment plans, and collaboration with nurses and physicians.

You will assess mobility, create active treatment programs, and document progress to support better outcomes. The team emphasizes professional development and high-quality care for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills.
• Clear communication and effective time-management abilities.
• Professional, team-oriented approach to patient care.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical abilities and identify areas for improvement.
• Create and carry out treatment programs based on individual needs and goals.
• Use therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility.
• Track progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Complete clinical records and treatment documentation accurately and on time.
• Work alongside nursing staff, physicians, and other care team members.
• Share recommendations with patients, families, and staff to promote safe movement and progress.
• Participate in team education and activities that promote quality care.
