Job summary

Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, NC is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time basis. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve mobility and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills.
• Clear communication and effective time-management abilities.
• Professional, team-oriented approach to patient care.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical abilities and identify areas for improvement.
• Create and carry out treatment programs based on individual needs and established goals.
• Use therapeutic exercises and interventions to help patients improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility.
• Track progress and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans.
• Complete clinical records and treatment documentation accurately and on time.
• Work alongside nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the care team.
• Share recommendations with patients, families, and staff to encourage safe movement and continued progress.
• Participate in team education and activities that promote quality care.
