Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to organize and conduct rehab programs in our facility. The PT directs client participation to restore independence and promote health, ensuring safety and compassionate care.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, designing treatment plans, fitting adaptive devices, and collaborating with the rehab team. Licensing or eligibility is required; generous benefits and flexible schedules available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited by the AMA and APTA and certified by APTA.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops treatment goals and plans; documents services and outcomes.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Selects modalities suited to individual needs and diagnoses.
• Consults with rehab team to select appropriate regimens.
• Instructs on mobility skills and evaluates progress.
• Adapts program to resident needs.
• Promotes safety and enforces hazards elimination.
• Attends care meetings and conferences.
• Supervises supportive personnel per standards.
• Conducts training for PT techniques and objectives.
• Orders supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Cleans and maintains equipment; reports repairs.
• Ensures quality of service for residents and families.
