Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program and eligible for Ohio licensure.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, sets goals, implements therapy plans and documents services.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Selects physical agent modalities suited to patient needs and diagnosis.
• Consults with rehab team to choose appropriate regimens.
• Instructs residents in mobility skills and tracks progress.
• Adapts programs based on individual needs.
• Promotes a safe environment and reduces hazards.
• Attends care conferences and related meetings.
• Supervises supportive personnel per standards.
• Conducts training for staff in therapy techniques and goals.
• Orders supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repairs.
• Ensures residents and families receive high-quality compassionate care.
