Job summary

Sterling Therapy Providers in Fall River, MA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time position. The PT will organize and conduct rehabilitation programs, guide residents in activities to restore independence, and promote health.

Responsibilities include evaluating residents, developing goals, coordinating with the rehab team, teaching mobility skills, ensuring safety, and supervising supportive personnel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited and certified.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the State.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents, develops treatment goals and plans, documents care.
• Designs and fits adaptive devices and trains residents in their use.
• Selects appropriate physical agent modalities for each resident.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to select optimal therapy regimens.
• Instructs residents in mobility skills and monitors progress.
• Adapts programs to residents’ needs and maintains a safe environment.
• Attends care conferences and supervises supportive personnel.
• Orders supplies and maintains equipment as needed.
