Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center, part of the HCA Healthcare system, seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant PRN to join our team in Corpus Christi. You will provide individualized care, restore mobility, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will support patients with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and home exercise programs while maintaining patient safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• LPTA licensure in the state of Texas required.
• Associate Degree from a therapy program required.
• At least 1 year experience in an acute care setting required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Applying physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting responses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Teaching patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs.
• Collaborating with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to support a culture of excellence.

• (LPTA) Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas is required
• Associate Degree from a therapy program as a minimum, is required
• At least 1 year experience in an acute care setting is required
