Vivo Healthcare Lakeland is hiring a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a Physical Therapist in delivering rehabilitative care. You will assist in evaluating patients, applying treatment plans, and guiding home exercise programs to boost mobility and independence.

You will document progress, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and uphold ethical standards while advancing your clinical knowledge through ongoing education with Vivo Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Licensed PTA in Florida as part of the role.
• Experience supporting physical therapy plans under supervision is preferred.

Responsabilités

VIVO LAKELAND IS HIRING A FULL TIME LICENSED PHSYICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA)!

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide rehabilitative services to patients with physical impairments or disabilities. The PTA will assist in developing and implementing treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities, thereby enhancing their independence and quality of life.

• Assist the PT in assessing patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop effective treatment plans.
• Implement prescribed physical therapy interventions, including exercises, therapeutic activities, and modalities, to improve patients' physical function and mobility.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to be performed at home to support ongoing rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, communicating any changes or concerns to the supervising PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments, progress notes, and other relevant documentation in compliance with Vivo Healthcare policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Participate in team meetings, in-service training, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development and maintain current knowledge in the field.
