Vivo Healthcare Pinellas Park is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team, delivering skilled rehabilitation under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in patients' homes in Pinellas County, Florida.

The PTA administers modalities and exercise programs to develop and restore function, while maintaining high standards of patient care and clear communication with residents, families and facility staff. PRN opportunities are also available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must have a valid Florida professional license by discipline.
• Must have experience in SNF/LTC.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Passionate about post-acute rehabilitation and the older adult population.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment and under the direct supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. The PTA administers comprehensive physical therapy modalities/regimens to clients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative physical therapy as prescribed by a physician.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Must have a valid FLORIDA professional license by discipline

• Must have experience in SNF/LTC
