Vivo Healthcare Gateway is hiring a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team in Florida. The PTA provides skilled rehabilitation services to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited PTA program degree, a valid Florida license, and has SNF/LTC experience. You will deliver rehabilitative care to older adults and collaborate with residents, families, and facility staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must have a valid FLORIDA professional license by discipline.
• Must have experience in SNF/LTC.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Passionate about post-acute rehabilitation and the older adult population.
• Ability to relate and interact positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, family, professional and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled rehabilitation services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Develop and restore function through prescribed rehabilitative physical therapy in clients' homes as prescribed by a physician.

Job Description:

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment and under the direct supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. The PTA administers comprehensive physical therapy modalities/regimens to clients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative physical therapy as prescribed by a physician.

QUALIFICATIONS:
