Vivo Healthcare Pinellas Park is hiring a FULL TIME Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team delivering skilled rehabilitation to residents in their homes under PT supervision. This role emphasizes high-quality patient service and clinical excellence in post-acute rehab for older adults.

Experience in SNF/LTC is preferred, and a valid Florida PTA license is required. The PRN opportunities provide flexibility for part-time coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must hold a Florida PTA license.
• Must have experience in SNF/LTC.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Passionate about post-acute rehabilitation and the older adult population.
• Ability to relate and interact positively with residents, family, staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled rehabilitation services to patients per Plan of Treatment under PT supervision.
• Administer physical therapy modalities/regimens as prescribed by a physician.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment and under the direct supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist. The PTA administers comprehensive physical therapy modalities/regimens to clients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative physical therapy as prescribed by a physician.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Must have a valid FLORIDA professional license by discipline

• Must have experience in SNF/LTC

• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence

• Passionate about post-acute rehabilitation and the older adult population

• Ability to relate and interact positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, family, professional and facility staff
