Job summary

Princing's LTC Pharmacy in Saginaw, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist who is a Licensed or Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. This full-time role focuses on accurately entering new prescriptions and refills, coordinating with providers and facilities, and maintaining compliant documentation to support our long-term care patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy is preferred.
• Strong data-entry and 10-key skills are essential.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input prescription and refill orders into pharmacy software.
• Manage incoming orders and prioritize urgent requests.
• Communicate with providers, clinics, and healthcare staff to clarify prescription details.
• Contact provider offices for refill authorizations.
• Resolve order discrepancies, insurance issues, and billing questions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of orders and communications.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Full-Time | $18–$22 per hour

Position Summary

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering new prescriptions, refills, and patient information into the pharmacy system. This position works closely with healthcare providers, facilities, and internal pharmacy staff to clarify orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.
