Job summary

Princing's LTC Pharmacy in Saginaw, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist who is a licensed or certified pharmacy technician to accurately input new prescriptions, refills, and patient data into our pharmacy system.

You will collaborate with providers and facilities to resolve discrepancies, prioritize urgent orders, and ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
• Previous long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input prescription and refill orders into pharmacy software
• Manage incoming orders and prioritize urgent requests
• Communicate with providers, clinics, and healthcare staff to clarify prescription details
• Contact provider offices for refill authorizations
• Resolve order discrepancies, insurance issues, and billing questions
• Maintain detailed documentation of orders and communications
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Full-Time | $18-$22 per hour

Princing's LTC Pharmacy | Saginaw, MI

Princing's LTC Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist who is a Licensed or Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely medication order processing to support the health and well-being of our long-term care patients.

Position Summary

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering new prescriptions, refills, and patient information into the pharmacy system. This position works closely with healthcare providers, facilities, and internal pharmacy staff to clarify orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
