Accendra Health is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Utah to support pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. The role focuses on ensuring compliant, efficient workflow and serving as the primary contact for referral sources, physicians, and patients.

Responsibilities include processing referrals, verifying demographics and insurance, coordinating orders, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Utah Pharmacy technician license active and in good standing.
• National Certification preferred; knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process new referrals accurately and completely.
• Coordinate with pharmacist to ensure efficient workflow and timely, profitable orders.
• Communicate professionally with referral sources and patients.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, allergies, and medical conditions as needed.
• Manage orders and ensure accurate delivery addresses and co-pays.
• Maintain and update customer database with order information and activities.
• Identify clinical issues and refer to pharmacist for consultation.
• Answer high-volume inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients and referrals.
• Support pharmacy operations and inventory management as required.
