Accendra Health in Utah is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to work under a pharmacist’s supervision. You will ensure compliant, efficient pharmacy operations and act as the main contact for referral sources, physicians, and patients.

Responsibilities include handling referrals, maintaining accurate patient information, coordinating with pharmacists for efficient workflow, and validating insurance and benefits for orders. Utah license active and continuing education credits are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Third Party Claims processing.
• Knowledge in pharmacy operations and products utilized by our pharmacy.
• Knowledge in pharmacy regulations and documentation.
• Knowledge in pharmacy compliance issues.
• Knowledge in prescription authorization processes.
• Utah Pharmacy technician license active and in good standing.
• National Certification Preferred.
• 20 Continuing Education credits as required every 2 years per the Utah State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsabilités

• Process new referrals completely and accurately.
• Maintain accuracy of patient demographics, shipping address, insurance, allergies and medical conditions.
• Coordinate with pharmacist to ensure efficient workflow and timely, profitable orders.
• Communicate professionally with referral sources and patients.
• Verify prescription details, refills, and authorizations; manage co-pays and shipments.
• Assist pharmacist with ordering and inventory as needed.
