Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in maintaining compliant, efficient pharmacy operations.

You will be the primary contact for referrals, physician offices, and patients/caregivers, ensuring accurate demographics, prescriptions, and benefits at every step. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Licensed Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Ensures pharmacy operations are compliant and efficient.
• Serves as primary contact with referral sources, physician offices, and patients/caregivers.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Process new referrals completely and accurately.
• Work with pharmacist to ensure efficient workflow and timely orders.
• Communicate effectively with referral sources and patients.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance, allergies and medical conditions.
• Ensure prescriptions are current with refills and authorizations; verify benefits; ensure accurate delivery addresses.
• Keep customer database current with orders and communications.
• Identify clinical issues and refer to the pharmacist for consultation.
• Respond to customer questions with proper phone etiquette.
• Handle hi-volume inbound calls; make outbound calls to patients/referrals as needed.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure efficient processing and delivery of orders.
• Accurately fill prescriptions when asked by the pharmacist.
• Assist with ordering and inventory; assist with other duties as needed.
• Must know Microsoft Office.
