Accendra Health is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to work under a pharmacist, ensuring compliant and efficient pharmacy operations and serving as the primary contact for referral sources, physicians, and patients.

The ideal candidate will handle referrals, verify demographics and insurance, assist with ordering and inventory, and maintain accurate records while delivering professional service to customers.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Utah Pharmacy technician license active and in good standing.
• Experience with Third Party Claims processing desired.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and products used by the pharmacy.
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and documentation.
• National Certification preferred, continuing education credits required.

Responsabilidades

• Process new referrals completely and accurately.
• Coordinate with pharmacist to ensure efficient workflow and timely orders.
• Communicate with referral sources and patients.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance coverage.
• Manage order due dates, refills, and co-pays; ensure accurate addresses.
• Maintain accurate patient notes and order records.
• Refer clinical issues to the pharmacist for consultation.
• Answer high-volume inbound calls and make outbound calls as needed.
• Assist with inventory and other duties as assigned.
