Job summary

Paragon Wealth Advisors in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced paraplanner to support advisors in client meetings, transactions, documentation, and follow-up. This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and a solid foundation of industry knowledge to assist through the planning process.

Ideal candidates are licensed (Series 7/66 preferred) with experience in a wealth management or financial planning environment and a strong commitment to detail, organization, and client service.

Qualifications

• Series 7 and Series 66 licenses strongly preferred; fully licensed candidates are preferred.
• Washington Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required to pursue CFP certification in the future.
• Prior paraplanner or wealth management support experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with Ameriprise systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Advisors throughout the client planning and service process.
• Participate in client meetings and assist with meeting preparation and follow-up.
• Take detailed notes during client meetings and prepare clear, accurate meeting summaries.
• Document client needs, action items, and follow-up responsibilities.
• Coordinate follow-up activities after client meetings and ensure outstanding items are completed.
• Work closely with advisors and other team members to help move client recommendations and service needs forward.
• Develop a strong understanding of the practice's financial planning process and service model.
