Job summary

Sam's Club #6671 in Freehold, NJ is seeking a full-time Associate for the Optical area to deliver member service, assist with purchasing decisions, and maintain merchandise displays. You will process purchases, returns, and exchanges while supporting store operations and benefits programs.

Responsibilities include stocking and organizing optical merchandise, handling claims and returns, and working with the team to deliver an exceptional member experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides Member service by acknowledging and identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and promoting products and services.
• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning and organizing product displays, and pricing items appropriately.
• Maintains the Sales Floor in the Optical area by handling claims and returns, zoning, and organizing merchandise.
• Receives and stocks merchandise in the Optical area and uses equipment properly, completing paperwork and logs.
• Operates cash registers and processes member purchases, returns, refunds and exchanges with appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Sells Optical products and services by assisting Members with purchasing decisions, measuring and adjusting frames and lenses, and handling orders and documentation.
