Qualifications

HS diploma/GED.
Current & valid state Opticianry license.
Strong optical & retail experience.
Knowledge of current optical theory & merchandise.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong basic math skills.
Sales skills.
Problem solving ability.
Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
Leadership & training experience.
Edging & mounting experience.
Basic optics knowledge & optical measurement experience.
State licensure & ABO certification in non-licensed states (preferred).
LensCrafters certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide unsurpassed Customer Service in retail.
Assist customers with selections, provide recommendations, assist sales associates.
Serve as a responsible alternate store key holder.
Perform lens fitting and dispense eyewear, adjust/repair eyewear.
Ensure lab processes and optical standards meet requirements.
Create a safe working environment and maintain lab tools.
