Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Optician in the United States to deliver exceptional eyewear and service. You will custom fit glasses, record precise measurements, and ensure prescriptions are accurately placed in lenses while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities include guiding customers, leveraging iPad/tablet tools, and maintaining store presentation. Prior experience in optical dispensing and strong math skills are preferred, with a focus on safety and patient

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State Licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and team-building skills.
• Familiarity with store merchandise and math basics.
• Selling skills and comfort using an iPad/tablet.
• Experience with POS and calculator usage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead with optical knowledge and guidance.
• Measure and adjust eyewear accurately.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Utilize technology and tools under time pressure to meet standards.
• Maintain store appearance and arrange inventory per policy.
• Flag safety opportunities and practice safe work habits.
