LensCrafters is hiring a Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional customer service and precise eyewear fitment. You will leverage state-of-the-art tools to measure, fit, and verify prescriptions while guiding customers through customization and selections.

The role requires a high school diploma, state licensure, and optical dispensing experience. You’ll engage with a team, manage time effectively, and uphold LensCrafters’ commitment to quality and care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State licensure in opticianry
• Optical dispensing experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with iPad/tablet selling and POS
• Able to learn and use technology quickly

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and set expectations for service
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses
• Demonstrate optical knowledge and leadership in the store
• Take and record measurements; adjust eyewear precisely
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions
• Maintain accurate use of technology and tools under time pressure
• Ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations
• Multi-task and manage competing priorities to meet KPIs
• Keep store appearance clean, organized and inviting
• Report safety opportunities and follow procedures
