LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver the brand value and establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision care within the community. You will provide legendary service and craft high-quality eyewear beyond customer expectations.

You will welcome customers, fit glasses precisely, take measurements, and collaborate with the team to meet KPIs while maintaining a welcoming store environment and leveraging technology to enhance service.

Qualifications

• High School grad or equivalent.
• State licensure required.
• Experience in optical dispensing.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Good basic math skills.
• Awareness of fashion trends.
• Selling skills and ability to use an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Willingness to embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead in optical knowledge and customer handling.
• Take and record measurements and ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate use of technology under time pressure and high volume.
• Identify root causes of issues and drive solutions.
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
• Aim for exceptional results on Brand KPIs.
• Keep store clean, attractive, and organized.
• Communicate safety opportunities to management.
• Be self-motivated with a desire for continual learning and improvement.
• Adhere to policies on discounts, promotions, and inventory.
