Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State Licensure as Optician.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Proficiency with iPad/tablet and POS systems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements; adjust/fit eyewear.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough use of technology under time pressure.
• Be proactive; ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations.
• Multi-task and manage time with competing priorities.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.
• Keep store clean, attractive and organized.
