Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Sales skills including use of iPad/tablet.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and fashion trends.
• Strong math skills and familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescription in lenses.
• Lead in optical knowledge.
• Take and record measurements; adjust eyewear with precision.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately under time pressure with product knowledge.
• Investigate root causes and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Multi-task and manage time with competing priorities.
• Aim for Brand KPI and competency excellence.
• Keep store neat, attractive and organized.
• Report safety opportunities to management; follow safe practices.
• Be resourceful, eager to learn, and drive results.
• Adhere to policies including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
