LensCrafters is looking for a Licensed Optician to deliver legendary customer service and precisely fit eyewear. You will record measurements, dispense prescriptions, and assist the team with complex product needs while maintaining exceptional product knowledge.

The role emphasizes high standards, use of technology, and achieving brand KPIs, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retail excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure as Optician.
• Optical dispensing experience required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of current eyewear and store merchandise.
• Basic math skills and fashion trend awareness.
• Selling skills and ability to use an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Willingness to embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead with optical knowledge and assist team with complex needs.
• Take and record measurements; ensure eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
• Maintain store appearance and organization; keep area clean.
• Use technology efficiently under time pressure and high customer volume.
• Strive to meet Brand KPIs and competencies.
• Adhere to policies including discounts, promotions & inventory management.
