Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, in Temecula, CA, seeks a Licensed Optician Team Lead who delivers exceptional customer service, guides customers through lens options, prescribes adjustments, and dispenses eyewear with accuracy. In this role you may lead lab processes, perform digital measurements, edge and mount lenses, and ensure eyewear meets optical standards.

You’ll act as a store key holder when needed and mentor staff to raise service standards.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• Current and valid state Opticianry license.
• Strong optical theory & merchandise knowledge.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Sales and customer service skills.
• Familiar with cash handling and basic calculators.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers and patients.
• Assist customers with lens selections and make recommendations.
• Dispense eyewear and perform adjustments based on prescriptions.
• Serve as alternate store key holder as needed.
• If applicable, lead lab processes and maintain lab tools and safety.
