This full-time position covers two stores (1090 and 1039) in Town of Greece, NY, with HIPAA compliance and ongoing training. The role emphasizes customer service and precise measurements to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain applicable state licensure for ophthalmic dispensing.
• Ability to interpret prescriptions and explain optical products.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of insurance benefits and third-party coverage.
• Follows privacy and security policies (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in frame and lens selection per SERVE process.
• Provide accurate product information and lens options to customers.
• Communicate with labs/optometrist to ensure prescription accuracy.
• Measure and fit frames; verify orders and adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, orderly dispensing area and pricing accuracy.
• Adhere to state licensure and privacy requirements.
• Support apprentices and participate in training as needed.
• Work onsite at two store locations and meet social distancing protocols.
• Maintain equipment and facilities as required by role.
