Qualifications

• Must hold optical license as required by state.
• Experience in optical sales and supervising staff preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and success standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for team management.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports.
• ABO and NCLE certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive and monitor profit, sales and performance per National Vision standards.
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure teams do the same.
• Ensure quality standards are met and merchandising aligns with brand.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates; assist in staffing decisions.
• Lead with forecasting, recruiting and retaining a high-caliber staff.
• Coach teams toward sales and service goals; mentor Apprentice Opticians as allowed by law.
