Job summary

The Assistant Eyeglass Manager oversees daily store operations, drives sales, and coaches associates to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to company standards.

The role involves staffing forecasting, supervision of opticians and sales staff, and support for leadership in achieving performance goals across locations.

Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.

Responsibilities

• Drives, monitors, and achieves goals for profit and sales.
• Oversees eyeglass department for efficiency and compliance.
• Leads and coaches associates toward sales and customer service goals.
• Forecasts staffing needs and assists in recruiting and retaining staff.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law.
