Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager in Nashville, TN. You will oversee daily store operations, lead Opticians and sales associates, and drive customer service excellence while meeting sales and profit goals.

The role requires optical licensing, ABO/NCLE certification, strong leadership, inventory management, and the ability to implement merchandising and promotions in line with company standards.

Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; Supervising experience preferred.
• ABO and NCLE Certified

Responsibilities

• Drives, monitors, and achieves profit, sales and performance goals according to National Vision standards.
• Oversees the eyeglass department for efficiency and compliance; identifies opportunities and develops improvement plans.
• Leads and coaches Opticians and CL Sales associates; ensures timely completion of day-to-day functions.
• Assists the General Manager with forecasting staffing needs, recruiting, and retaining a high-caliber staff.
• Mentors Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
• Ensures effective merchandising and execution of marketing, pricing promotions, and initiatives.
