Job summary

National Vision is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead the eyeglass department, and nurture a high-performance team. You will drive sales, ensure policy compliance, and maintain service standards that delight customers.

The role requires an optical license and ABO/NCLE certification, with experience in optical sales and supervision. You will mentor staff and collaborate with the General Manager on staffing and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Maintains Optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and success standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze and understand financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Drives profit, sales and performance goals per National Vision standards.
• Oversees eyeglass department efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Mentors Opticians and Sales associates to meet sales and service goals.
• Assists General Manager with staffing forecasts and retention of high-caliber staff.
