The role emphasizes forecasting staffing needs, coaching staff, and continuing professional development, with opportunities for advancement within a nationwide optical retailer.

Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective team management.
• Ability to analyze and understand financial reports.
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.

Responsibilities

• Drive, monitor, and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversee eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates.
• Forecast staffing needs and participate in recruiting and retention.
• Lead and coach associates toward sales and customer service goals.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians where permitted by law.
