Paramount Care Centers is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to organize and conduct occupational therapy programs within the facility, guiding residents through rehabilitation and adaptive activities to restore function and independence.

The OT will evaluate residents, design treatment plans, train on adaptive devices, and collaborate with the rehab team. Licensure and certification eligibility are required, with a focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited and licensed in state.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state.
• Registered and/or eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate residents and develop treatment goals and plans with documentation.
• Design and fit adaptive devices and train residents in using splints and orthotics.
• Select activities suited to each resident's abilities and interests.
• Consult with rehab team to tailor activity programs.
• Instruct residents in skills and progress evaluation for rehabilitation.
• Adapt programs to individual needs.
• Attend and contribute to resident care conferences and related meetings.
• Lead training programs for medical, nursing and other staff in OT techniques.
• Requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
• Maintain and report when equipment needs repair.
• Supervise support staff per state and professional standards.
• Ensure residents and families receive high-quality, compassionate care.
