Qualifications

  • Current Nursing Home Administrator license required, with eligibility for Nebraska licensure by reciprocity if applicable.
  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state licensing requirements, and survey readiness.
  • Proven leadership, budgeting, and operational achievement.

  • Oversee daily operations as the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA).

We are actively seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead daily operations and drive high-quality, resident-centered care at a long-term care facility in Northeastern Nebraska. The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) oversees all aspects of facility performance, including clinical oversight, staff leadership, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and operational results.

As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA), you will provide strategic leadership, support department managers, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture focused on quality, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Current Nursing Home Administrator license required, with eligibility for Nebraska licensure as outlined below
  • Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state licensing requirements, and survey readiness
  • Proven experience leading teams, managing budgets, and achieving operational goals
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees, residents, families, and healthcare partners
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional resident-centered care and fostering a positive workplace culture
Licensure Requirement

An active Nebraska Nursing Home Administrator license is required before the successful candidate begins employment in the administrator position. Candidates who currently hold an active, unrestricted Nursing Home Administrator license in another U.S. jurisdiction may be considered if they are eligible for Nebraska licensure by reciprocity and obtain their Nebraska license before the agreed-upon start date. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon verification of an active Nebraska license through the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
