Westpark-A-Waters-Community in Indiana is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the facility’s operation, ensure quality care, and align with federal and state regulations and company policies.

The LNHA will oversee budgeting, staffing, marketing, compliance, and resident services while fostering teamwork and staff development. Full benefits, competitive pay, and generous PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
• Maintains a current, valid Indiana State Nursing Home Administrator’s License.
• Minimum two years of management experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
• Completes facility orientation, mandatory training and in-service programs.
• Meets health assessment requirements, including two-stage Mantoux skin test.
• Capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Directs overall operation of the facility in accordance with resident needs and regulations.
• Attends all mandatory in-services by employee’s anniversary date.
• Communicates and observes Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• Plans all aspects of facility operations with management staff and consultants.
• Conducts regular rounds to address resident needs, monitor departments, and morale.
• Ensures appropriate use of consultants and maintains inter-departmental teamwork.
• Maintains compliance with governmental regulations and QA standards; promotes staff morale.
• Manages turnover and staffing through recruitment, orientation, training, and education.
• Manages facility budgets and business practices including labor costs and payables/receivables.
• Develops and implements a marketing strategy to maximize census and ancillary revenues.
• Builds positive relationships with regulators, families, and the community.
• Supervises education activities and staff meetings; on-call 24/7.
• Understands state rules and provides instruction to staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
