Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Must hold a current Nursing Home Administrator license.
• Indiana State Nursing Home Administrator license is required.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations governing long-term care.
• Completion of facility orientation and mandatory in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall operation to meet resident needs and business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Plan and monitor all departments, set priorities, evaluate performance and coach staff.
• Conduct rounds to address resident needs and maintain morale and cleanliness.
• Coordinate resources, scheduling, and teamwork across departments.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, payables and receivables.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize census and revenue.
• Build relationships with regulators, families, and the community.
• Stay on-call to address facility issues 24/7.
• Maintain knowledge of rules and provide staff instruction on regulations.
