Job summary
Waters of Wakarusa is seeking an ambitious Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead our facility's operations in Indiana. The Administrator directs the overall operation to maintain quality resident care while meeting business objectives, in accordance with federal/state regulations and company policies.
The role requires a four-year degree, an active Indiana NHA license, and at least two years of long-term care management experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Must hold a valid Nursing Home Administrator license.
- Current Indiana NHA license is required.
- Minimum of two years' management or equivalent experience in long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations.
- Completion of facility orientation and mandatory training.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Oversee facility operations in line with regulations and company policies.
- Direct budgeting, staffing, payables, receivables, and office activities.
- Lead marketing and community relations to maximize census and revenue.
- Ensure high-quality resident care and facility safety.
- Conduct rounds and supervise department staff and consultants.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and promote staff morale and retention.
- Be available on-call 24/7 as a senior administrator.
