Qualifications

• Two years as a Mechanical Engineer 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) or Four years of professional mechanical engineering experience which required work on any structural mechanical system.
• You must be in possession of a Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.
• You must be in possession of a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Design Development: Create detailed mechanical specifications, design data, and CAD drawings for construction projects.
• Site Evaluation: Conduct field surveys, gather relevant information, and prepare reports with observations and cost recommendations.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Work with internal staff, external professionals, and code officials during project planning and development.
• Technical Review: Assess mechanical drawings, estimates, and design reports and approve or recommend revisions.
• Construction Oversight: Inspect project sites to verify compliance with design standards and resolve mechanical concerns.
