Job summary

The ideal candidate holds an IL PLS license, has experience with boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys, and can prepare maps, reports, and project budgets.

This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills and willingness for daily and overnight travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold an IL PLS license.
• Experience with boundary/topographic/ALTA surveys, construction staking, and data collection preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Clean driving record required.
• Ability to work both in office and field.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to determine survey needs.
• Oversee boundary and topographic surveys in the field and office.
• Establish project expectations, calculate survey data.
• Prepare maps and reports based on survey data.
• Maintain accurate records, files and documentation including field notes.
• Prepare budgets for projects, proposals, and technical reports.
• Review and certify work when complete.
• Open to daily travel and overnight travel to client sites.
