Job summary

GEICO Conyers, GA Local Office is seeking Insurance Sales Agents to work exclusive leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and cross-sell GEICO products. You will engage prospects, quote and close sales with superior service, and maintain relationships to protect and expand our customer base.

The role involves a Monday–Friday schedule with a potential shift to 9–5 after licensing and training, plus hands-on training, licensing support, and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced call-center-like environment.
• Willingness to obtain GA Insurance Producer License (employer may pay).
• Strong attention to detail and data recall.

Responsibilities

Insurance Sales Agents work our EXCLUSIVE leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, cross-sell and market to appropriate products. Work with agent to establish and meet marketing goals. Responsibilities

• Learn the GEICO products and how to sell our benefits to potential customers.
• Quoting and closing prospect sales leads with superior service.
• Engaging new prospects and following up on leads.
• Leads provided by Agent. NO COLD CALLING.
• Service existing accounts and ensure customers make buying decisions armed with the right amount of information.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities during retention calls.
• Provideexceptional customer service.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Must be able to work 10:30-5:0 pm Shift Monday- Friday with potential to move to 9-5 after licensing and training completed.
• A successful candidate brings:

• Up to 75% of your day may be on the phone, a high-energy personality and a love of working with people is a must.

Requirements

• GA Insurance Producer License Preferred. Employer is willing to pay expense to obtain the license for the right candidate.
• Highly motivated and self-driven
• Good customer service skills or prior experience
• Strong Attention to detail with time management and decision-making
• skills but also described as someone with high energy and driven to be the best
• High level of dependability
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced and high call center like environment
• Strong computer, typing and grammar skills
• Prior sales experience and strong customer service background is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent, College Degree preferred
• Background and credit check required for employment.
