Job summary

State Farm Ogden is seeking a full-time Licensed Insurance Sales Professional to join our in-office team in Ogden, UT. You will develop leads, assess customer needs, and market appropriate property and casualty and life products.

Candidates must hold an active P&C license; Life & Health license within 60 days is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Starting wage $20–$25/hour with PTO, retirement plan, life insurance, and growth opportunities.

1. Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license.

2. Must be able to make the commute to our agency location in Ogden, Utah. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification

Requirements:

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
• Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H preferred
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Property & Casualty license (required)
• Life & Health license (must be able to obtain within 60 days)
