Job summary

State Farm Agency in Alexandria, VA is seeking a full-time Licensed Insurance Sales Professional to join our in-office team. You will develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential. Responsibilities include providing prompt, accurate customer service, handling inquiries about coverage, policy changes, transfers, claims and billing.

1. Must have an active Property and Casualty insurance license.

2. Must be able to make the commute to our agency location in Alexandria, VA. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services

Requirements:

• Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H licenses preferred
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
