Job summary

Farmers Insurance is growing and is hiring a fully licensed customer service team member at an agency in California. As a Customer Sales and Service Representative, you will build and develop relationships within our community and promote Farmers Insurance products, including auto, home, life, and commercial insurance.

The role requires a current California State Insurance license (P&C and Life/Accident & Health) and prior office or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Prior office administrative or customer service background.
• A Property & Casualty Insurance license required andor Life, Accident and Health License.
• Capability to work well with other employees and to be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Confidence necessary to handle all types of clients and to quote and sell insurance to prospects or existing clients who call in.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process customer policy change requests.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Answer phones daily.
• Provide on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
• Issue certificates of insurance and accepts payments.
