Job summary

Walmart is hiring an experienced Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R across a local regional market. You will own the preventative maintenance strategy and work with Store Managers and Facilities Services leadership to ensure facilities operate safely and reliably.

Requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA certification, with 3–5 years in facilities management, strong leadership, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or a related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge
• Leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop others
• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across your assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections in accordance with mechanical and building codes.
