Qualifications

Work Environment

Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life experience. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals within our multidisciplinary team to create a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations for a diverse client population, assessing mobility, strength, and function to establish baseline levels and identify treatment goals.
• Develop individualized evidence-based treatment plans that address specific patient needs, incorporating a variety of therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and gait training.
• Regularly reassess patients' clinical progress through ongoing evaluations, ensuring that treatment goals are met and modifying plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, including SOAP notes and progress summaries, using our electronic health record system to ensure compliance and facilitate continuity of care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, recovery processes, and potential challenges, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for recovery.
• Achieve designated utilization and productivity goals while contributing to the overall objectives of the practice.
• Work in close collaboration with colleagues from various disciplines within our organization to coordinate care for patients requiring multiple services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work at Renew Motion Therapy will involve a wide array of patient demographics, from pediatric clients to adults of various ages and backgrounds. You will engage with patients who present with a multitude of conditions, including post-operative recovery, musculoskeletal disorders, neurological impairments, and developmental delays. This diverse caseload will allow you to utilize a broad spectrum of clinical skills and adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
• Strong clinical skills and a willingness to perform evaluations and treatments both in-person and through telehealth, as clinically appropriate.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population and a commitment to equitable care for all patients.
• A flexible approach to work, adapting to the dynamic environment within the practice and the broader healthcare landscape.

Preferred Experience
