Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead and scale facilities maintenance across a local regional market. You will guide a team of technicians, oversee HVAC/R and building systems, and partner with Store Managers to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates bring a current HVAC/R Contractor license, EPA certification, 3–5 years in facilities or related fields, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in your state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge.
• Leadership skills to coach, motivate and develop others.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with root-cause and equipment breakdown analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across locations.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facilities Services to address needs.
• Use data and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain contractor licensing and regulatory compliance.
• Arrange permits and coordinate inspections.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure safety and quality.
