Job summary

Walmart is hiring an experienced Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to lead facilities maintenance across a local regional market, supervising a team of technicians and ensuring safe, reliable facility performance.

You will partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services to drive maintenance strategy, oversee HVAC/R and building systems, and manage licensing, inspections and vendor coordination across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or a related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge and leadership ability.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across locations in the region.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors and ensure licensing compliance.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and coordinate inspections per codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
